All the proceeds from the car show are for the benefit of Emma Moats –
On August, 29, 2014, Emma suffered a massive hemorrhagic stroke due to a ruptured AVM (arterial venous malformation) in her brain. Our lives were turned upside down as Emma’s future was unknown. We moved our family to Hershey where we stayed 4 1/2 months until we finished training and Emma was stable enough to come home. Emma survived but the stroke caused massive damage. She is a miracle as we have been told that she should not have survived, but Jesus was with her. God had other plans for her here on earth. Emma has had 9 surgeries, 6 of them were brain surgeries, at least 5 brain angiograms, MRIs, CT scans, ultrasounds, blood transfusions, etc. Currently, Emma is thriving. She is walking with assistance, talking, fully cognizant, and enjoying life. Her medial maintenance is still quite large requiring many trips to Hershey, therapy, etc. Emma has about 20 specialist assisting us with her care and healing. We are grateful for the provisions that God has blessed us with to aid Emma in her healing. This would not be possible without the many specialists at Hershey, family counselor, therapists, the many prayers, and financial support. We are forever grateful for your continued prayer support and the upcoming car show ~ Sincerely, The Moats Family
